The response to the  Seize BP campaign has been tremendous. In the first 
day alone,  thousands of people have signed the petition supporting the  
seizure of BP's assets to provide comprehensive compensation and  relief for all 
affected people and for cleaning up the  environment. Let's get tens of 
thousands to sign the petition in  the coming days. 
As we predicted, BP  executives are now hedging and refusing to commit to 
pay for all  damages caused by their reckless and criminal action. 
It’s time  to take to the streets and demand the immediate seizure  of BP’
s assets. In cities and towns around the country, people  will take to the 
streets on Wednesday, May 12 at BP offices and  other locations around the 
country.
