[PAA-Discuss] Claire Loe, MPH, PhD

[Lee Loe]

At about 5AM Nov. 3 our precious daughter Claire Loe, MPH, PhD, died. She
was on the Palliative Care ward of MD Anderson having lost her nearly 6
month fight with cancer. The hospital staff found it remarkable that she was
so lucid and sharp in spite of her very low blood pressure near the end. She
spent the last few hours unresponsive but without pain. She lived long
enough to receive her replica of the Conrad Hilton Humanitarian Prize for
2016 earned by her company, Taskforce for Global Health of Decatur, GA, with
her help. She worked with their s Public Health Informatics Institute unit.
She is survived by her loving parents, Lee and Hardy, her 3 sisters, 3
nieces, 1 nephew, 1 nephew-in-law, and her beloved cat, Smudge. We will let
you know when we will celebrate her exceptional life. Lee
