[PAA-Discuss] Join Us: Conf. Call w/ Sanders Aide to Fight Trump

Ever since last week's disastrous election, people from all over the country have been calling and emailing us, asking how they can get involved and fight back against Trump's promise to take away health insurance from millions.

That's why Healthcare-NOW is inviting you to a special conference call with Lori Kearns, a Bernie staffer who works on healthcare policy, and Progressive Democrats of America (PDA).

Agenda:
Lori will be providing insight into how our progressive legislative leaders plan to respond to the Trump administrations' threats on healthcare, the timeline for any actions, what's in their capacity, etc.

Then we'll take questions from you, and get your feedback on where states groups are at, and how the national groups can help. We'll close with a discussion about how Healthcare-NOW and PDA plan to fight back. (Note: Participants will be automatically muted to eliminate background static, but you can jump in the queue to be unmuted for questions by pressing 5*).

Taking on Trump will require mobilizing massive numbers of people, defending more than just the status quo, and involve actions from lobbying congresspeople to demonstrations to public education.

As a member of Healthcare-NOW, your participation on this call is essential. Millions of people have a personal stake in this fight, and we need all hands on deck to bring them together and help make this uprising historic in proportion!
