Should hedge fund billionaires pay lower  taxes than working families?  
The "carried interest loophole" is an egregious  symbol of how Wall Street 
billionaires have rigged the  political system for their own benefit—and 
it's about  time that we had it abolished.  
Closing the tax loophole would generate a minimum of  $1.8 billion per year—
enough to replace all of the  contaminated pipes in Flint, Michigan, or to 
pay for  public college tuition for nearly 200,000 students a  year.  
Despite broad and bipartisan support, Congress  refuses to act. But with 
elections around the corner,  now is the time to hold them accountable—or make 
them  lose in November.
